my most favourite studio in the city is The mint room in the Toronto Junction. Every room option is incredible and plucked perfectly from the inside of my brain. The decor is fabulous, and it is extra exciting whenever they have their design and floral installations.
Why I Love This Studio
Designers and artists from the community are featured in these collaborations. It’s so nice to see the community they’ve created with this beautiful concept, a place where artists and ‘creatives’ come to do their craft. As a frequent user of this space, I truly appreciate the level of detail and design. The natural light that floods the space is essential in my photography sessions. Having mastered both natural and studio lighting, I prefer natural light any day for most sessions and can always make them look fabulous. These beautiful spaces inspire me so much, it truly makes is easy to do my job.

Typical Sessions Photographed
The best sessions to have in the mint room include maternity, baby milestones such as sitter sessions or cake smash, and family sessions. newborn sessions would be feasible to complete in 2 hours, however, photographed in a ‘lifestyle’ manner to take advantage of the design in the space. The baby would be artistically wrapped for a more natural vibe, and staged around the room in the most flattering way.
