Baby shower and event photography is a newly added menu item to my services menu. It would be my dream to grow with a couple from their engagement shoot, wedding, maternity, newborn, to various baby and family milestones. It would be such a special relationship and the project ideas, don’t get me started! So, I am putting it out into the universe! Kamande & Chantelle were with me previously for an outdoor maternity session in High Park. When the call came in to work with them again, I jumped. They are such a lovely couple. The Details Matter

Posed Vs. Candid: Posed
Posed photos are lovely for remembering special guests. A photography wall, such as the one set up at the baby shower, offered just that. A place for friends and family members to come together and remember their attendance and share in the joy.

Posed Vs. Candid: Candid
The key to making your client happy is to have a nice mixture of posed and candid photos. The candid photos offer a ‘behind the scenes’ feel with genuine expressions and reactions. Those are the little details that will impress them the most. For example, Chantelle had no idea that her husband was going to come and surprise her towards the end of the baby shower. Her reaction was priceless, and it was documented forever. She now gets to remember from her own recollections as well as have a beautiful photographic reference.
